Ronald Barry

Ronald Barry, better known to family and friends as Ronnie or Cool Breeze, has went on to be with the Lord on January 19, 2026. Ronnie was born on October 14, 1950, to the union of James and Delores Barry in Lorain, OH.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents James and Delores, his big brother Robert, his son Allen and great grandchild X’zayvian.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory his older brother Richard (nee Julia), godson Parry and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday January 26, 2026, at Carter Funeral Home 3001 Elyria Ave Lorain, OH from 11am-12 noon.

In Quiet Light

He walked among us, steady and kind,

Leaving soft echoes where love was sown.

In Simple moments, his strength would shine-

A warmth the heart has always known.

Though words now fade and days move on,

His presence linges calm and true.

In every lesson freely given,

In every life he quietly grew.

We grieve the silence where his voice once stayed,

Yet honor the life he chose to live.

For love does not end with a final death-

It becomes all the memories we give.

So rest now gentle soul at peace,

 Beyond the reach of pain and fear.

You are not gone- you’ve only changed,

And you are forever near.
